I recently purchased my 1992 Plymouth Grand Voyager with 189,000 miles. This vehicle was extremely abused and had a very noisy lifters and valve train. I blew a head gasket two weeks after I bought it and during the tear down to fix the head gasket I noticed severe wear on the lifter bores and the lifters themselves. Instead of buying $120 dollars worth of lifters for a van with 189,000 miles on it I decided to give LUCAS a try. WOW!! The van runs smooth and the lifter noise is completely gone! This product works! No knocks or valve clattering at cold start. Oil consumption dropped from 1 quart every 1500 miles to nil. Fuel mileage jumped from 19.0 mpg to 21.8. Overall performance dramatically improved. So impressed,used product at next oil change in wife's 2004 Chevy Impala LS with 3.8 V6. Same results. Daughter drove the Chevy,swore it ran like a small block V8,had to pop the hood to show her the engine. Put the product in her 2002 Saturn,gets 35+mpg.

stuff work like dream, but just this recent oil change i decide to try

I just wanted to let your company know how impressed with your products that I am. I use the oil stabilizer when I change my oil and it works great. First let me say that I am asking for nothing. I just wanted to write this and say you "Stuff Kicks Ass"!!! : ) I moved here, in Colorado back in 1996. I am a mechanic by trade and alway looking for a new prize. Seem Lucas in alot of hot rod mags, but I was a STP man. Anyway I found it and used it and it was cheap. But damn did that stuff work. And I use it in everything. Some guy saw me putting some in my motorcycle, and told me hey thats for cars. I told nosy that I have been putting this in my bike for "8" years and it runs "great". Bet he does now :)

I puchased a high mialage 1991 chevrolet k-2500 (489,000) and put another 80,000 on it when the thermostat stuck shut in the middle of nowhere near Cheyenne Wy. the engine got so hot it siesed it melted the water hoses to there nipples I was lucky enough to get into a conoco quick stop before she froze up it just sat there a pinging an crackleing when I bought it I took it to jiffy lube to change the oil and I told them I wanted to put the lucas in it as I provided . They tryed to tell me how good there additive are but I persisted so the reluctantly complied any way every now and then I would try to turn it over the starter could only move it a notch but it still wasnt cooling in place after one and a half hoursthe engine made a complete timing to timing turn boy was I glade to see her coming back to life I pulled the upper neck bolts almost out been there and shure enough tharr she blew antafreeze all over it worried me some about cracking somthing it already melted and blew out the heat sensere but before it got hard Itook some pliers and pushed it back onto it's base it was still so hot I couldn't stay by it long. another hour and it started the valves were rattling and it was running rough but it was running took a screwdriver and fished the thermostat out and tightend the bolts down again then I poured hot water out of the conocos coffee maker in the resivor it sucked it down no smoke,no steam out the exaust wow two gallons of water no leeks and the het guage is working it's still hot but it's getting quieter so I filled up the jugs of water and headed for home near Burns Wy. 25 miles and I have to say I do believe it is the lucas that saved that engine whitch pops thru the manifold and doesn't have the power it used to have but she will go to town and back as I ask her to! thank You for helping me keep my big gocart alive P.S. it is a chevy hard as a rock and this one now rides like one again thank you George Burback

I added oil stabilizer (20% ratio as recommended) to my mildly modified 1965 Corvair Corsa. I had a technical question. It seems that all things set equal other than adding the stabilizer, my idle speed is faster than before. I am a degreed engineer, so I put on my problem solving hat. The best I could come up with is that the stabilizer has reduced the overall friction between components. Therefore, at the given idle air/fuel ratio the engine is able to spin freer. Is this possible? I have no problem stepping down the idle circuit a bit, but I guess I never expected to see that much difference. If that is the case, hats off to a great product. Plus, since the car is air cooled, head temps hover around 400F under normal operating conditions. I figured normal motor oil could use the added bonus of the stabilizer when continually operating at elevated temps.

Any hint regarding the idle question would be appreaciated.
