This vehicle started having valve train noise and lower oil pressure when approaching the 3000 mile point on oil change at approx. 50,000 miles. I believe was starting to have a bearing failure.

Last incident using Castrol GTX 10-40 Oil. A little over 3000 miles (61427 on odometer) oil warning buzzer came on guage indicated 5 psi oil water 205 F. Shut off and let cool. Arrived in Buffalo with oil pressure around 20 psi at 2000 rpm.

Changed Oil , (checked on cost of new engine), added 1 qut of Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer and filled with Shell Rotella 15-40 Oil. Oil pressue at operating temperature and 2000 rpm going down highway indicated at 50 psi. Pressure at 3000 rpm 65 psi.

I am hoping to prolong the life of this engine to budget for an engine failure that I feel is inevitabe.

I am interested in the performance of the product and the outcome of the experiment.

My Civic has a to-date mileage of 316,500 km (196,663 miles). I had some lifters ticking in my 1993 Nissan Pathfinder and it was pretty bad. I had tried about 3 or 4 other products but relief. I was getting ready to take it to the shop when a friend told me to try the Lucas Oil Additive so I did not expecting any results and BAM, with in two hours of the engine running, the noise went away. It's been 5 days now and sometime I might here it on start-up for a few seconds then it goes away. I'm a Lucas fan now.

I have what I feel is an amazing testimonial. I have been using your Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer after seeing your gear cluster demo showing how your lube clinging to the moving parts while rotating the hand crank. I have since been adding Lucas Oil to my lawn tractor engine and all my vehicles with every oil change. One day when I drained the oil from my tractor, I installed about 8oz's of your product and did not add the rest of the regular oil . Since Lucas Oil was so thick and needed time to settle, I decided to finish refilling it the next day after work. The next day my stepson returned home before me and decided to cut the grass. My lawn mower was smoking pretty bad when i remembered I had some Lucas heavy duty oil stabilizer in the garage. I have a 1984 F-150 4wd pick-up that has over 175k on it that I bought off my brother. He was a big believer in your product and had always used your oil treaatment when it was time to change oil so I cuntinued using it and even started using it in my other truck.

Last Friday (04-13-07) I changed oil in both of my trucks and added one bottle of oil treatment in each. Little did I know that when I removed the old filter on the F-150 the seal remained stuck to the block and I screwed the new one right on top of it. I crancked up and continued filling the motor with oil. The next day I drove my truck to the store in town about six miles away in pourring down rain. When I got out I smelled oil and thought nothing of it deciding it was just oil I had spilled on the manifold. When I came out of the store I climbed in and set sail for home, never considering all the oil present on the water in the parking lot had just been pourring out of my truck.
