INDIANAPOLIS (Aug. 27) - With the sixth annual Eric Medlen Memorial Golf Tournament only a couple of days away, all available slots and sponsorships have been filled for the Aug. 28 tournament in Indianapolis.

However, for those who still wish to contribute, an online auction of various racing memorabilia has been established. The auction includes Morgan Lucas' autographed 2013 Seattle Wally, Antron Brown's autographed door panel, Austin Dillon's autographed firesuit, and much more.

"The support from everyone for this event has been outstanding," Lucas said, "and the incredible response from the NHRA community never ceases to amaze me. It's a great feeling knowing how many lives will be touched by everyone's involvement.

"We hope that those who still want to help will check out the online auction as well. It's a great way for people to be involved without having to travel to Indy for the golf tournament."

The online auction is currently open at qtego.net/auc/mlg and will remain open until midnight on Monday, Sept. 1. All proceeds from the tournament and auction benefit the Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at St. Vincent, a place close to Medlen's heart.

Medlen, who passed away after a testing accident, was known for being a genuine person with a love for helping others, especially children. The Lucas family began the golf tournament as a way to honor his memory.

NHRA drivers confirmed to compete in this year's tournament aside from Lucas include Erica Enders-Stevens, Richie Crampton, Brandon Bernstein, Shawn Langdon, Chad Head, Del Worsham, Clay Millican, Bob Vandergriff Jr., J.R. Todd, Tommy Johnson Jr., Allen Johnson, and Shane Tucker.

The Eric Medlen Memorial Golf Tournament kicks off with registration, pictures, raffles, and a silent auction at 8 a.m. Tournament play will start at 9:30 a.m. with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, awards, live auction, and putting contest finals at 3:30 p.m.
